Profile for glamford9
I've been told by some that I'm smart, funny, in possession of a great rack, and recently, laid back. I love technology and innovation. Other things I love are 30 Rock, Mad Men, pop culture in general, crafting, and baking. Aside from baking, I try to live a healthy organic lifestyle. I'm not looking for a casual fling, nor to get married - something in between. I recently moved back here from LA, having spent the bulk of my adult years on the West Coast with a short stint in Texas. Since my job allows me to work from anywhere, I split my time between the city and Long Island to hang with my fam, which I have been enjoying tremendously.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh, challenge my brain, and show me their NY. The last time I lived here, Williamsburg was a trek and Avenue B was chock full of drug dealers (I won't even tell you how much I paid in rent). So moving back here is like moving to a new city. I'm always up for a field trip.
Ideally, you're respectful, mature, and open-minded. You have opinions, but don't insist everyone else have them. You love maybe not your job, but certainly your work. We agree on the important things - politics, the value of family, but also possess different interests, the kinds of things we can teach each other over time.
The last great book I read I Love You Beth Cooper, in the middle of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, digging it so far.
My most humbling moment Realizing I had misspelled the name of one of my favorite books listed in my profile for about a month
Favorite on-screen sex scene There's a scene in Flirting where Noah Taylor and Thandie Newton are ever so slowly shaking hands goodbye - one of the sexiest things I've ever seen. Also, that scene in Mulholland Drive. You know the one.
The celebrity I resemble the most Madonna as Breathless Mahoney
The best or worst lie you've ever told: I once told my parents the massive hickey on my neck was from running into some pokey branches.
If I could be anywhere right now London, Hanoi, Istanbul
Five items I can't live without My laptop, NPR, Mad Men, Farmer's Market produce, iPhone
